Using Papercut to print securely for Students

Overview

The institution utilizes Papercut as a secure print method, which also offers some convenience over traditional printing.

On-campus printing

These instructions apply to users wishing to print from CTS managed Windows computers or unmanaged Mac devices with the Papercut Mobility Print client installed. Contact  helpdesk@covenantseminary.edu  for instructions on installing the Mobility Print client.
Go to this link:  https://papercut.covenantseminary.edu/user  and click "Sign in with Microsoft" then login to your student email.
Select Web Print on the left side of the screen
From there click on Submit Job
From ther you can choose how many copies to print along with uploading the document from your computer. You cannot print directly from Google Drive. Once you hit upload and complete you casn make your way to any papercut enabled printer to print your document.
Walk up to any of the Papercut enabled printers on campus and login. You can login using your CTS Email/Password combination or by using an ID Number (see below for more information).
Once logged into Papercut at the printer, you will see your pending jobs. Tap Print Release to view and manage specific print jobs.

Once finished, tap Log out in the top-right corner.

FAQs

How do I find my ID number? / What is my ID number?

You can generate/view your ID number by logging into Papercut:
  • Click the link:  https://papercut.covenantseminary.edu  or
  • Login to  My CTS  and navigate to My CTS > IT Services > Papercut.
  • Login with you CTS email address and password.
  • In the upper-left corner of the dashboard, you will see Card/ID. Click Show to view.
  • If you wish to change your ID (or it is "undefined"), click Change Details in the left-hand navigation menu.
  • The Change Details page will allow you to generate a six-digit ID number, which you can use to log into a Papercut enabled printer.
  • Returning to the Summary screen and clicking Show next to Card/ID should reveal your new six-digit ID number.
  • Logout when finished.
