Counseling can play an important and integral role in spiritual formation. Because of the Seminary’s commitment to your spiritual formation and through of the generosity of our donors, we offer counseling scholarships to help meet some of your needs. These scholarship dollars are used to provide assistance to students and their families for a limited window of time. Typically, these dollars are awarded based on need and would supply partial funding for up to ten counseling sessions. Unfortunately, our funds are not sufficient to cover the entire cost of each counseling session, nor are they sufficient to aid all applicants. Both students and family members of students qualify to apply.

Free Counseling through CTS Counseling Center
Confidential, free counseling is available for residents of the St. Louis area. This service is provided by Master of Counseling students who are completing their Practicum or Internship. Student counselors are supervised by members of the counseling faculty and other licensed counseling professionals.
Services include individuals, couples, teens, and children aged 5 and older.
If you are a counseling student yourself, you may only meet a Covenant Intern in your first year of study to avoid overlap with your counselor in class. We recommend you take advantage of this opportunity as early as possible in your time at Covenant.
Counseling sessions are held in the Counseling Clinic, located on the second floor of Buswell Library.
