The vision of The Common Table is to see student voices amplified, student skills developed, and student life improved, for the purposes of promoting the common good of the Covenant Theological Seminary. In order to see this vision realized, The Common Table will work to promote critical reflection and dialogue on faith, theology, culture, and life through the semi-annual publishing of an online and print magazine – all for God’s mission.
Along with our semi-annual publication, we host events, talks and ministry lunches.

For both for students considering future academic studies and for trained ministry leaders seeking depth outside their curricula, Theological Fellowship provides a space to explore God's call in our lives. We seek to be a safe place for dialogue, encouragement, and prayer. We carry this out in weekly meetings (as a Formation Group), a conference of student papers, ministry lunches, and guest lectures for the Covenant community.
- Each Friday 10:00-10:45 am, we discuss articles or readings that will prepare us for cultural and theological issues in current and future ministry.
- Our January conference provides a time to hear from scholars and from our peers in their theological research. We also have the opportunity to serve students, faculty, and staff through ministry lunches.
- We serve Covenant's larger community by bringing major speakers to our campus, which fosters engagement with godly theologians and rigorous scholarship.

The Theological Women at Covenant seeks to serve the women of the church and ministry degrees, specifically the women of the MDiv, MATS, MABTS, and MAM degrees, as we offer guidance, programming, and networking for current women students to women who are theological and ministry leaders in the field. We seek to serve the larger student body as we support women in their endeavors at Covenant Theological Seminary. We also seek to serve the body of Christ as we provide co-curricular opportunities. In order to fulfill these groups we offer various meetings throughout the semester varying from professional photoshoots, theological women's dinners, and lecturers. Our meetings provide the theological women at Covenant a place to explore careers, study from women in ministry, and prepare for future positions in and connected to the Church.

The Community of Latin American Students (CELA, as per the acronym in Spanish and Portuguese) exists to provide a community for students and their families to engage the Latin American heritage and provides Latin American students a place to express their Latino culture at Covenant Seminary. It also exists to enhance every seminary student’s education and experience by bringing awareness of and fostering constructive dialogue on issues affecting the Latin American community in the church and around the globe, bringing a necessary perspective to theological matters and encouraging responsible action toward these concerns.
All of these things are done through various events which include, but are not limited to: ministry lunches, panel discussions, workshops, cultural awareness events, meetings, dialogue with other students, and social gatherings.
Queremos ser una familia cuando estamos lejos de la nuestra.
During these special times, our opportunities to be together will be fewer, but we don't want that to be a big obstacle to grow in fellowship. We will try to meet at least three times during the Fall and do some Zoom meetings as well.
All Latin American and Hispanic Students and spouses!

The Ancient Language Reading Group exists to provide a community of students committed to sustaining and growing their proficiency in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin. We seek to encourage one another in the lifelong work of engaging the Scriptures and the theological tradition in their original languages. In addition, we aim to cultivate a space where reading together deepens both linguistic skill and joy in God’s Word.
All of these things are done through weekly gatherings on Saturday mornings, where we site read and discuss texts in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin in order to maintain proficiency, grow in fluency, and foster fellowship around the study of the languages given to the church. Each week we focus on one of the languages, allowing students to attend the specific language they are wanting to grow in and maintain.
